PS4 easily with a massive lead in install base.

PS4 for 3 reasons:

1. Halo 5
2. PS4 Will have ridiculous install base
3. They kind of confirmed to everyone next year, it'll probably be cheaper and DLC. So people who wouldn't have bought it for PS4 this holiday may buy it next because value.

Is anybody gonna care about a year old port? I guess it really depends on if they market it and make it clear that's it's the "best" version (such as "$100 DLC free) and it's only like $40.

Otherwise, XBOne, easy. Install base being higher or not, we say that TR this year won't sell that well because of the crowded holiday. What makes anyone think a year old game is gonna sell better in the 2016 holiday? Especially when that's the year the PS4 will "finally" start releasing games?

Bad buzz now we know the truth( even if we knew it inside, the fud it created consused people, especially casuals), causing a lot of people to wait , for those who wanted more a PS4 but were fan of Tomb Raider ( i dont think a lot of people would buy a $400 console only for 1-2 games they want if they want more an other console, especially if they like adventure games)

Microsoft helping to fund this game (in the same vein that Sony often does) has bought them a full year's exclusivity over their rival console. Now we could have a big debate about the merits of these sorts of deals, but MS and Sony would be equally guilty.

Certainly a full year is a lot more than many of the sorts of people you refer too were expecting - including yourself I believe!

PC. It has a bigger fanbase than Xb one's and it will come out much earlier than PS4.

I honestly don't know about a head to head between PS4 and Xb one. I suspect millions of people who would buy RoTR will have forgotten about it by the time it comes to PS4. And I don't see anyone investing large amounts into marketing a year old game. Not everyone who buys a game is a fan of the franchise. Some people just buy a game because it sounds interesting or they want to give it a go to see what all the fuss is about. All those types of people who have a PS4 but no other platform capable of playing RoTR will probably let this game pass by without giving it much consideration. So my opinion is that the sales potential of RoTR on PS4 is about 50% what it would be if it was releasing this year alongside the Xb one version. And it's hard to say whether that sort of sales potential decrease equates to more or less sales compared to Xb one.

Well we were expecting 6 months ( like the most solid source was telling) but Uncharted 4 delay changed everything for Square Enix, so they surely changed their planning to avoid it.

And i dont really see what it has do with my post , but i dont think we would end the debate by saying they are equally guilty, at least not on this generation, if we had one.  Timed exclusive DLC( most people really dont care, including me) is really not the same thing than a real timed exclusive on a full game only because you paid for it while the game could have been made  on both consoles without your funding like Rayman Legends ( at the beginning) and Tomb Raider. ( otherwise it wouldnt be timed) You cant compare a Bayonetta 2/SFV situation to a Rayman Legends/Tomb Raider 2 situation, they are totally different, the simple fact one is timed and the other not should be enough to understand.  When the funding and partnership is not necessary to make the deal, the deal is always timed

I think xbox one... one year delay is huge, and to begin with RoTR isn't going to sell well on the x1 coz of its releasing among huge heavy hitters and on the same day as Fallout 4. also considering the fact majority of the TR fans are on playstation, I dont think anyone would buy an X1 just to play TR probably an offline game. so the sale on the x1 will be miniscule only curious people will buying it this year. And on PS4 next year it will bomb harder, coz Uncharted 4 probably would set the bar for action adventure game very high then PS4 Holiday line up with TLG, H:ZD with the usual CoD and a possibility of FF15. I don't think by that time anybody will care about a year old game which would have been played through on youtube and twitch millions of time, unless if its as amazing as the last of us

Hopefully after this debacle we will get another TR reboot, but this time with old acrobatic lara
