You clearly understatement Nintendo biggest fans and supporters and not realising Zelda for Wii U would be knife in back for them.

If Nintendo would do something like that, it would be shot in both legs, literally, but I like wrote, Nintendo is very aware of all that and they will certainly not do something like that.

Also this statement from last month:

"We're here to talk about Star Fox but Zelda is still coming to Wii U," Miyamoto told IGN today at E3 2015. "So don't worry about that."

I don't underestimate anyone. I have accepted that Wii U is a commerical failure. For the greater good of NIntendo I think Zelda U should move consoles. I want th ecompany to prosper and provide me any games in the future on a successfully launched new console then worry about my feelings about one game on Wii U. There is plenty of games on Wii U for me to enjoy already.

If Nintendo fans can't see the benefit of this then they should not be shocked to see Nintendo fail and go mobile or 3rd party.

Nintendo needs to deliver to consumers and fans what they promised, its very simple. They announced they working on Zelda for Wii U just 2 months after Wii U launch, so for lots of Wii U owners Zelda U is one of main reasons for buying console. I dont have problem if some unannounced Wii U projects are moved to NX, but not launch game on Wii U that was very early announced and later showed, would be very big problem.

Best thing would be like they done with TP Wii version (GC owners get their game and in same time was launch title for Wii) and I think that combination is most likely, Nintendo will have stronger launch and biger sales for game and Wii U owners will still be happy.

Nobody think NSMB will be at launch or shortly after. If NX is out in 2016, NSMB 5 is out by 2017 imo.

Metroid amiibo party, Mario 3d amiibo blowout and Zelda U will be launch titles...

1st year games will include Pikmin Amiibo Challenge, Smash Bros Boardgame Amiibo Rush and Splatoon reimagined as a party Boardgame.

I know we already have too much NX threads but I want to have one thread were we can discuss potential games for NX, in first plays launch and 1st year exclusives.

We still dont know what exactly NX is, is it a handheld, home console, handheld and home consoles or hybrid, or when will be released, 2016. or 2017. Only thing we certainly know is that Nintendo will shove it next year. But let's still try to predict.

-I think new 3D Mario game will be launch title, we know that Nintendo finished Mario 3D World in 2013. and after that the statement that they working on new Mario game.

-Zelda U port also like launch title, all everything points that Nintendo will again pull Twilight Princess and again release game on current and new console.

-Game with similar appealing to hardware like Wii Sports or Nintendo Land for launch too.

-Diddy Kong Racing, launch or 1st year title, I believe in that rumour about Diddy Kong Racing, that rumour suggest that Retro is working on it, also Nintendo Files Diddy Kong Trademark in Europe last month.

-Some second party exclusive in first year or launch game.

-In first year I think we will have Pikmin 4, Pikmin 3 was released in 2013. and Miyamoto stated that he have ideas for future Pikmin games.

That's all that currently comes to my mind.

I dont think Zelda Wii U will get ported. It would make sense money wise, but im curious if nintendo thinks Wii U should have one exclusive Zelda Wii U title, if NX has backwards compability maybe it could play zelda Wii U like that, or maybe it doesnt have backwards combability. I think Nintendo maybe wants Zelda Wii U exclusive to Wii U so that the Wii U feel worth it.

Maybe if NX will have BC, but I think even in that case they will little change and adapt to NX hardware and make it launch title, similar like they done Wii TP version in comparison with GC version. Zelda U will be huge game and they will certanly want best launch for NX, so they will do what they can to ensure that.

I think that its not too important for Wii U to have exclusive Zelda, it's much more important to have new Zelda game and not just remaster.

Well i dont see Skyward Sword getting ported To Wii U, because that needed a good zelda game at launch. I think the twilight princess treatment was only one thing, and just because they did that doesnt mean they gonna do it again. I know nintendo wants to have good sales for Zelda Wii U, but maybe they also want somethng big and huge exclusively for Wii U

Well Wii was their best selling console ever and they thought they will have very good launch regardless Zelda, Wii U in other hand is their worst selling console ever (similar situation like GC but worst), so they relly need very good launch and good 1st year titles. Also Skyward Sword was released one year before Wii U launch, and there are good chances that NX will be released next year in same time like Zelda U.

Wouldnt it then be perfect if they ported a skyward sword bundle to help sell the WIi U or something and even upgraded graphics, that would also sell alot, but no they wanted a Wii exclusive zelda title, not just Twilgiht princess that was on gamecube, I think twilgiht princesss was more its own thing. I guess we can only see what nintendo does, but i think Nintendo wants some exclusivity

Yes it would be perfect, but Nintendo though they don't need it, because they didn't see clearly after enormous Wii success.

This Nintendo home console gen is very similar to GameCube gen (like I wrote, only worst), and seems that they will again pull TP.

3D Mario
Zelda
Diddy Kong Racing
Pokken Tournament

Potentially an amazing launch line up, but unless the expand they won't see sales more then 25m-30m.

Perhaps but I think Nintendo is gonna give the NSMB series a break, it has kinda run it's course and no longer feels new. Mario Maker on the other hand is a new concept for the franchise which releases in a few months and is made by the same team as NSMB, I could see Mario Maker 2.0 or an updated port releasing on NX in 2017.

I totally agree, NSMB series needs a break or complete change of formula, I think that would be very good if instead NSMB series we have 3D Mario World series.

Mario Maker and Splatoon are the two IP that I look at and say "these could have sold way more on a better selling hardware". They are genre-types that are mass market friendly these days. I'd expect Nintendo to want both on NX fairly quickly, maybe not right at launch but assuming a fall 2016 launch, then 1st half 2017 wouldn't surprise me.

Mario Maker should be easy to port and iterate on, Splatoon 2 is probably already in the planning stages and will enter full blown development very soon if it hasn't already.

The last NSMB game released in 2012, so if they released a new one in 2017 that would be a five year break. That's quite a long break.

Anyhow, Mario Maker and NSMB are not comparable. Mario Maker is more of a spin-off while NSMB is more of a mainline game. Nintendo won't replace NSMB with Mario Maker as they are not the same. However, they may try a different 2D formula in the same vein as NSMB, but the games consistently sell very well so there's not much of a point.
