Well, if it DOES suck... the original Xenoblade technially plays on the Wii-U so yeah lol

I've actually been thinking about this too lately. I have been somewhat disappointed by the quality of the stories in many Wii U games (story is my favorite part of any game). I found Bayonetta 2's story to be interesting but it was so convoluted and difficult to follow that I eventually lost interest in figuring out what happens, I did not think TW101's story was good at all. And obviously most Nintendo games (Mario, Kirby, Donkey Kong, etc.) have essentially no story. I guess the problem is a lack of Zelda. Yeah there's WWHD, but that was a story I already experienced over a decade ago. Oh well. (I don't care what people say, I like Zelda's stories lol)

Wind Waker HD. I also thoroughly enjoyed Bayonetta 2's story despite it being silly.

I've also heard good things about XCX's story and Genei Ibun Roku #FE seems like it will have a good story as well.

Edit: OH, and I've watched a bit of Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water and the lore of that game seems pretty deep. Can't wait for it.

XCX will most likely be the best Wii U game in terms of story.

Deus Ex HR was a pretty good story.

Child of light, Tengami and Lone Survivor: Director's cut are worth looking in the eShop

As for physical releases, Mass Effect 3, Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's cut, Batman Arkham City and The Wonderful 101 are worth mentioning

And then there are tons of additional games in form of the Virtual console or Wii Titles, of course.
