don't take them seriously... for that to happen, they would need to hit a ridiculous price point (199$) or under and somehow bring powerful enough hardware with an architecture similar enough to ps4 that would guarantee all current gen multi platforms were there as well as some great Nintendo titles.

This would mean take a HUGE losses on hardware and might still not be enough to entice enough people already owning a current gen platform to hit such an insane figure.

In the way that it became a fad. Fads are lucky strikes.

I'll completely disagree with you. Launching into that climate with that console and the strong advertising campaign, Nintendo was destined to succeed with the Wii. Maybe you should try and understand the reasons for Wii's success more rather than just claiming it was a fad.

This confirms it is a hybrid console or handheld imo. They would not be so optimistic about a home console.



Prediction for console Lifetime sales:

Wii:100-120 million, PS3:80-110 million, 360:70-100 million

I gauruntee the PS5 comes out after only 5-6 years after the launch of the PS4.

It's not gonna happen. A home console couldn't do it and a handheld couldn't do it. Even if NX is a handheld/console combination, that doesn't mean it will have the sales of two separate devices crammed into one.
