I can't imagine XCX would get to a million this year considering how late it's coming to Europe and North America...
I'm really surprised that Nintendo has enough confidence in this title to give it a holiday release...

Mario Maker and Party will be both at 1m before years end, easy. Xenoblade and Yoshi both have a chance as well

Honestly I strongly doubt any of them will reach it this year but Xenoblade might do it down the road. I'm not sure Yoshi and Star Fox ever will. |
I reckon Star Fox will as it's a reboot of SF64, the franchise generally never has an issue with selling 1m.

Or do you mean a game that sells a million in 2015 alone? That's more difficult, although Mario Kart 8 is well on the way to a million this year and with the holiday season coming up that could do it. As for new games I think Mario Maker is the only one with a chance and even then I'd say it's about 50/50. |
50/50? O.O
Are people underestimating SMM or what :-/

Yeah about that is already been stated that star fox won't have online multiplayer.

Super Mario Maker is my guess
I also doubt that Ucraft would exceed 1M sales by the end of 2015

Super Mario Maker, with or without marketing Mario has strong legs.
Yoshi has a good chance too. Just like Mario It's a game that sells well without much marketing.
Star Fox Zero could be one, it had a big push at E3 so who knows.
Xenoblade is a small possibility, just like Star Fox it depends on marketing and the circunstances of the retailer and limited print affected the performance of the previous title.
Basically any franchise that it's not Mario, Zelda, Smash Bros. can do well with proper marketing, Splatoon already proved this.

Captain Toad, Star Fox, Mario Party 10 and Mario Maker are the best bets to hit a million this year. The dark horses could be Xenoblade, Mario Tennis, Yoshi and dare I say it Animal Crossing Amiibo, especially if the same is sold with a load of different Amiibo bundles.
