Seriously, everyone was so caught up in his flaws and never realised he was one of the few people in Nintendo who were keeping the company from going fully mobile like Konami is at the moment. I feel the new CEO could either be very good or extremely terrible for Nintendo. Thoughts?

So he was so against mobile that under his lead the company would make the first big steps towards mobile? That's some great CEOing right there.

That's a nice cheeky response that I have come to know you for concerning things related Nintendo, but I am going to just ignore that aspect of what you said in my response and address the content of it in hopes that maybe you can gain better understanding.
yes, under iwatas rule, the company took the biggest step towards mobile ot ever has, but you have to see that it's not the step people necessarily wanted them to make. They wanted Nintendo to go all out, making games for it as if it were it's own platform, but that is not really the approach they are taking. Its being used as more of a tool for advertising than anything. the hope is that when they play this bullshit $0.99 version of splatoon or mario, they will see that there are way better games with dedicated hardware to play them. That's kind of the angle here
