Best Case Scenario:
Is handheld system, more power than the Vita.

Worse case? People consider Nintendo irrelevant as they did Sega late 90s and NX will be the next Dreamcast.

If its not as powerful as the PS4 and it comes out as Nintendo's official 9th gen console. If that happens, Nintendo is going to die. Or at the very least, it's console portion will. But, hey, maybe the rumors are wrong. After all, dev reception at E3 was positive, right?

If they launch the console in 2017, they make a slightly more powerful compared to the other consoles being a year before the new consoles possible release (2018).

That's my biggest fear too. An hybrid console that ends up being an overpowered handheld with a painfully short battery life that makes it fail as a handheld and that at the same time is an underpowered home console that fails to catch the interest of non die-hard Nintendo fans.
