PS/XB exclusive. "It's already been on Nintendo. Why don't you think they should get the next one?"

Even when Nintendo publishes this game and gives it its backing, Ninty fans still didn't buy it. Now, this may be the fault of the WiiU not having a particularly large install base, but then again, other Nintendo published games sold multiple millions. And it's not like Bayonetta is some niche game. Hack n slash is still alive and well. When a big Nintendo logo is on the package and Ninty fans still don't buy it, why should they get the next one?

At least PS/XB fans actually demanded Bayo2 (i.e. Ninty fans had nothing to say about wanting Bayo2 prior to its WiiU exclusivity) to the point where the developer actually responded to it.

I can understand being WiiU exclusive because Nintendo is the only reason the game could exist, but should a Bayo3 be brought up, find a different means to make sure the game exists. Because Nintendo surely isn't the right route. And obviously, if it goes PS/XB it probably won't go WiiU anyway, either because of architecture differences ("WiiU isn't powerful enough to achieve our vision") or the developer won't see the value in a WiiU version. I'm for the PS/XB exclusive choice because I don't see the value in a WiiU version. "But, more people will get to play the game. How does that affect you?". Because a WiiU version takes money to make. And if they don't recoup that money, then they take a loss. Which affects their overall business and making more and more games. It's not always as simple as "why don't you want more people getting the chance to play the game?"

Lol Bayonetta 2 did not sell well on Wii U,so they need to make a third game a multiplatform.

Platinum would be absolutely daft to make it a Nintendo exclusive, the second has sold around 700k so far on wiiU but if it had released on ps4 and XO it would of hit over 4-5 million. I'd like to see a a third but only if it's multiplat or ps4/XO

The bolded... just wow... Does it still hurt to sit?

They only thing daft is your prognostication that Bayo 2 would have sold that well on PS4 or XO.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Multiplatform. Why wouldn't you want as many people as possible to be able to enjoy it?

This is the only right answer. However, the question would have to be asked about who would publish it then.

SEGA of course!

Hopefully there never is one. Bayonetta doesn't need a third. Spin offs and crossovers will suffice. Leave it at Jeanne and Bayonetta x Devil May Cry.

Yeah, but you made a great point in your earlier post. Does SEGA suddenly have the faith that Bayonetta can deliver from a commercial standpoint now?

Game deserves 60fps -> make it multiplatform

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

As long as multiplat included Nintendo I'd be fine.
I love the series and I'll most likely only own a Nintendo console so I wouldn't want to miss out.

After Bayonetta did somewhat poorly and Bayonetta 2 only got made because of Nintendo and has sold even worse, why would a third game even get made? Bayonetta is not a profitable game series. No matter how good the second game was, regardless, it didn't sell. The only way a Bayonetta 3 will ever exist is if one of the big three once again foots the bill, then it will once again become exclusive to the relevant console.

My money is on Bayonetta being done for good after the second game.

Oculus Rift needs its Platinum exclusive, and like Bayonetta 2, it's on a platform that the previous installments weren't on, so let's have Bayonetta 3 be a virtual reality Oculus Rift exclusive. /s
