I don't have certainty of any Nintendo fan that has accepted or resigned to the idea of Nintendo consoles barely having third party support. I think such fans may exist, I am just saying that I haven't seen anyone saying: "Oh well, what can we do? Nothing. Well, it can't be helped." I never said that all Nintendo fans were like this, I was talking about those that do complain and vilify third party developers for not releasing in Nintendo consoles. I agree with what you say, if someone wants to play Bayonetta 2 so bad, there's the WiiU, the only existing option. And likewise, for those Nintendo fans who want third party games, well, there are other options for those games as well away from Nintendo. |
I can see the frustration for some games though but I agree not every game should be complained about.
i.e. multi platform games - obivously its impossible now with the hardware difference it be just a different game. however if Nintnedo got their shit together you would hope an easy port that costs say $100,000 instead of $1,000,000 be achievable.
my biggest issue was last gen though. not so much multiplatform games but when devs skipped wii for no good reason ie Resident Evil 4 had perfect controls with the wii remote, it showed the potential the game had and sold well. RE5 would have been nice. In the end was glad move come out for PS3 so all was like ok whatever.
Hell some proper sports like a cricket and baseball game would have been nice. games that really suited that control scheme and made sense.
Wii U doesn't really bother me too much as essentially its just a controller with offscreen play, so may as well get the best version of the game on PS4.
