It is there, it has been reported by Nintendo a long time ago. Personally I think Splatoon deserves it more, but Mario Kart 8 was a good game as well.

Good to know. It is a more entertaining and creative game than New Super Mario Bros. U. New Super Mario Bros. U has some great levels, but it is mostly more of the same.

3D World deserves to be number 1, but good for Mario Kart 8, haven't had so much fun with a Mario Kart game since Double Dash.

I seriously don't see how that csn be hard to understand.

The title provides a topic, the OP provides a source and the creator consideration, and I answered to it.

Mario Kart 8 is not yet the number 1 in the source provided, exactly what my post pointed.

You might want to actually read the OP as he explains his reasoning with the fact that the vgchartz numbers are 3 weeks late. And that still doesn't change the fact why you would want to use a bad source. We have the numbers from Nintendo, that's the only source that should be taken into account.
