This is kind of a silly point. Monster Hunter was popularized by the PSP. The console versions are largely irrelevant. Even so, Monster Hunter 3 was announced for PS3. A year later, it was mysteriously cancelled and announced as MHtri for Wii. So, unless Nintendo is working on a huge partnership with Square specifically for DQ (which I don't think is likely considering the DQX fiasco), the situation isn't comparable.

lol if you think dragon quest X was a fiasco. final fantasy XI was square enix most profitable game ever because all the money they made from the monthly fees to play online. Dragon quest X sold similar numbers and probably has a similar active userbase. It's making tons of money for square.

Because I know you're reading this Zero:

1. DQX didn't sell close to FFXI at all

2. DQX's playbase was dependant on free weekend and free play periods for its activity (they even had to change one of their campaigns because there weren't enough players to meet their goals).

While DQX is certainly profitable, it's not been a smooth journey and to mention it alongside FFXI is laughable.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Was DQ X really a big success?? I remember that the numbers weren't that great, but i could be mistaken...

minecraft on vita is or is getting close to be the best selling game on the sytem so this is no surprise.

When this game will do well in Japan for PS Vita, do you think Square Enix will make more PS Vita games?

This will be very likely, but i hope the make exclusive games for the vita and not this cross-gen thing like they actually do

Only if we actually get a main game.
Nintendo also got all the shitty FF spinoffs and you see how that ended^^

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Seems there is an emphasis on town building and crafting the RPG world itself. Not at all surprising. The fact that they only list two characters and that there are no existing towns continues to imply a very text-lite adventure that is likely to be localized.
