to be fair, project cars ps4 version has better performances than the xbox one version so based on performance alone, forza 5 > project cars xb1 version.  ps4 version doesn't run at locked 60fps but it's much closer to it when it's not raining.  forza 5 doesn't have weather effect.

Better than the XB1, but not even close to 60 FPS. Also the screen-tear is insane.

yeah, it depends on where you look, this one shows better performance.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H_k1Pev66Dk but yeah, it's much closer to 50fps than 60fps, still it has more things going on in this game compare to forza 5.  Also the game perform better when it's not raining something forza 5 doesn't have.

Over 100,000 less than the PS4 version! Almost on Wii U levels. With all the hype I figured it would have been more.

Are sure about these numbers?

The last official numbers are:

250k xbo
590k ps4
160k steam

From the pCARs devs.

Well these numbers are first week Europe/Australia only, so no doubt they would have jumped quite a bit after that

Yeap but the difference seems even bigger here... 340k.

I was. Europe isn't the strongest Xbox region.

I wasn't expecting it to do well on any console.

XB1 is biggest in the US. The genre isn't so big in the US. Wouldn't surprise me if a good chunk of the XB1 sales are just from the UK. While the PS4 has lots of European markets to draw the sales from.

More than ½ of Xbox One:s in EU are sold in UK.

Less than a ¼ of PS4 sold in EU are sold in UK.

I Honestly didn't expect it to do well in the Xbox when there is already an exclusive Driving game. Tough competition.

Maybe they should cancel the port next time

Well X1 have had Forza 5/Horizon 2 to keep busy with and PS4 has desperatly needed a racer makes sense with the sales.

Racers sell best in Europe, PS4 dominates Europe, 3rd party titles sell more on PS4.

No matter how you look at it, developers just see numbers.
