Forza 5 certainly wasn't great. Its graphics where sub-par, though its controls where FAR better than Project Cars, and at lest Forza 5 had a locked 60 FPS. Forza 6 is looking to be much better.

You just have very high expectations of games I think. As it seems anything that isn't the very best of it's genre isn't great.

to be fair, project cars ps4 version has better performances than the xbox one version so based on performance alone, forza 5 > project cars xb1 version.  ps4 version doesn't run at locked 60fps but it's much closer to it when it's not raining.  forza 5 doesn't have weather effect.

Of course I expect high standards. Racing games should be 60 FPS, this often wasn't. Its controls where also quite awful, meaning unless you had an actual wheel, it sucked. Certainly not a 0/10, but not an 8/10 either.

Better than the XB1, but not even close to 60 FPS. Also the screen-tear is insane.

I agree with 60fps. However, at the same time, most of last gen's best racing games were capped at 30fps. I'm so glad the PC ports liberated them!

Last gen is last gen. I worry about this gen, where I expect all FPS and racer games to run past 30 FPS (god that was an awful time).

It was such a backward step. I understood the Saturn/PS1 games running at 30fps. But then the Dreamcast/PS2 provided plenty of 60fps racing goodness, and suddenly 30fps became acceptable again :(

I never gave it much thought but I would've never thought it would've been 35 fucking thousand holy god that's bad.
