MGS2 + MGS2:Substance sold around 7 million WW, and MGS3 + MGS3: Subsistence sold close to 5 and is still selling, albeit slowly. Melee sold over 7 million if I recall correctly.
Given those numbers, and given the sales of the Wii and PS3, then Brawl's sales may as much as double MGS4's.

dumb question. Brawl is a type of game that needs to be compared to the likes of Final Fantasy, GT and GTA not MGS.
MGS can sell shitloads but SSBB sells more shitloads.
I'd say Brawl sales may even get to 2.5-3 times MGS4 sales if PS3 doesn't improve its performance.
