ok, thanks, that explains why I didn't join sooner then, having lost all my saved data 3 times, loosing hudreds if not thousands of hours of compined play time in all those games I was shocked to think I waited that long.

Well, it's the people that were there in the beginning that allowed it to be what it is today. When it was first announced, it was simply "is this putting multiplayer behind a paywall? No? Then we don't care".

So it was the truly devoted fans who jumped in. Those are the people they are rewarding: those that trusted Sony with their money on what essentially was a pilot program. I can understand the logic behind that. 

It's like, uhh...."true fans" vs bandwagon hoppers.

Have been a member for about 2 years now and with 100€ I got like 2000€ or more worth of games, not to mention improved discounts and other free stuff. Never regretted.

I can understand that for the printout or whatever they are doing, keep that for those that have been there all along, just would be nice to have some other bonus, maybe an extra game or a free month of + or something for everyone as well.


I hope we do get a decent free game. I've got the email, it sounds like they are going to be posting custom posters made up of the trophies you have received over the years

This, the ps+ quality drop was insane, its not worth it anymore for me. They need to put there some retail games if they want me to subcribe again.


I think it still worth it for discounts on digital sales, often times it is like a 10€ discount or more on some major games i often times have seen. And 3 months of PS+ are worth 15€ so it breaks it even in price espacially if you buy multiple games digitally.

Right now in german store for example (not sure if in all of europe) they have this big in japan sale going on, on top of regular price drops there are PS+ price drops as well.

Omega quintet 45€, 30€ with PS+

Akiba strip 35€, 25€ PS+

DOA 5 last round 30€, 20€ PS+

All PS4

 

PS+ sales come quite close to steam sales often times
