NX's launch title will be a weightlifting game featuring Captain Falcon, and then Sony will announce the equivalent with Kratos as the main character. I can already see it.

Yeah no reason for Nintendo to be afraid at all |
Motion gaming existed before Wii, it was just popularized by it.
Camera based gameplay was done with EyeToy, before both Kinect and Wii. Although, Kinect and EyeToy are completely different than the Wiimote.
You could use the PSP for Remote Play and as a second screen with the PS3, which was also before the Wii U and Gamepad (much stronger argument with GBA/GC copy).
Marvel vs. Capcom was the first well known crossover fighting game. PSA was only made because people were asking for a PS version of it.
To retread what so many others have said, everyone steals ideas or concepts from others. Whether they take and duplicate it or take it and innovate/improve on it varies. To imply that Nintendo is sole originator of innovative thought is just silly, especially after the reception the Gamepad received.

You should at least change the above picture as LittleBigPlanet2 released in 2011 whereas WiiU released in Nov 2012.
Also as many have already pointed out this this was already possible during the PS3 days....

Nintendo NX Fusion will be a copy of Sony if true rumors of it are true. Because it'll be like Sony's PSP/PSP Go. You can bring your PSP/PSP Go anywhere then place it on a dock at home that's connected to your big screen TV and play using a Dualshock 3 controller. Did we all forget that Sony PS2 had a motion controller (third party) before the Wii came out? Everybody copies everybody that's how the industry works yet seems like alot of people like to turn a blind eye at Sony specifically. Personally I don't care who steals what as long as who can do it better. Like I find PS1's dual analog to be way more effective then Nintendo's N64 analong stick requiring your left hand to be in two different places to use the D-pad or analong. And Sony's built-rumble (that's now it every controller built-in) rather than some heavy add-on to your controller for the N64. |
you are wrong about the psp, they just copyed the sega nomad. allmost 10 years to late for beeing the first...
oh and nintendo had motion controlls for the nes... I love the powerglove...
the build in rumblepack isnt an innovation and who invente the analog stick is a good question, but it was before the ps.
(and sega did it best anyway)
A company trying to keep a business secret a secret? Insane!
Nintendo must be the first company in the history of business to do this.

Well, Sony made the PS Move after the success of the Wii (the Kineckt is more of its own thing), and both Sony and MS followed the gamepad announcement wih the PS Vita/Microsoft Tablet remote play (although I don't know if they were planning that before). |
I do agree that move and kinect were reactionary to the wiis success. But Sony had PS Eye before the Wii was announced so its hard to say they stole the idea when they were playing with it first.
Secondly, vita was not a response to the Wii u lol. The PSP was just outdated and needed a successor. Was the PSP created to take some of the handheld market? Yes. I'll give you that.

I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.

They shouldn't have explained what they were doing. Now other companies will steal their idea of keeping their ideas secret.
