Well seems like Sony and Nintendo are trying.
Sony is bringing out big guns and Nintendo as well.
Both are making new ip that appeal there.
They are also making cool spinoffs of big franchises.

For 90% of the japanese industry that's looking to make games on console the PS4 is the only relevant option.

That's nothing, we talk about sales, agreed? Or idk...

If we talk about this, we can't say the PS4 is relevant and the Wii U is not when the Wii U is selling more.

In Japan?

Yes, considering the PS4 is at DreamCast level, a console like Wii U is a stronger competition.

If the PS4 was selling at the 3DS level, then the Wii U was nothing, but cnosidering the PS4 is after DreamCast the worst selling console of the history in Japan (withouth XBOX console ) yes, the Wii U is a strong competition.

And if you think the PS4 will sell many millions more than Wii U lifetime, good luck...
