I read somewhere (NeoGAF?) someone speculating that the whole E3 Nintendo Direct, Iwata not showing, was a sign of internal power struggle at Nintendo HQ.That Iwata wanted to shame those that forced these decision trough!
Metroid-franchise is not selling at all in Japan and not stellar in EU either. It must be up to NOA to pull trough a "real" Metroid game!
