US is where it matters most. Xbox360 almost doubled the sales of PS3 in the US.

No, but that doesn't matter. The important thing now is the success of PS4.
You shouldn't compare to PS2 because 1: PS2 had a better library and 2: PS3 didn't soar at launch like PS4, thus many were still buying a PS2 rather than the new console.

Because people like him like to discredit the Wii because their console of choice did not win. The Wii won last generation and there is nothing that the PS3 or the XB360 can do to surpass the 100 million mark. Eliminating the Wii from the console race since it wasn't for hardcore gamers or whatever other silly reason is just plain dumb. I find it even more hilarious when people claim the XB360 won when it came in last place despite coming out a year earlier.

It is 2015 guys! Haven't you heard? Last place is the new first place!

Hmm, it depends on how the sales are going weekly and how long it remains on the market. If it stayed for several years, it may have a chance, but I'm feeling it's very unlikely. And besides, it doesn't really matter anymore. The 7th gen race is over. We're in the 8th gen now. It's time to put the 7th gen behind us, and remember it fondly...
