Forums - Gaming - E3 2015: Battle of the FPS. Halo vs RainbowSix vs Battlefront vs Doom! ohh and CoD

What is the most impressive FPS at this years E3?

Starwars Battlefront 41 35.04%

Halo 5 51 43.59%

Doom 4 17 14.53%

Rainbow Six 4 3.42%

See Results 4 3.42%

Total:117

well its not that easy, sure doom will beat the shit out of the other in allmot every way, BUT RB6:siege looks like a lot of fun too, like an upgrade for the counterstrike idea.

star wars looks good but everything i heared about it scared or enraged me.

and halo is just a meh game. everything is meh about it, the gameplay, the story, the graphic, no mod support, no costum game in mp.

With CoD: Call of Duty Black Ops 3
Without CoD: Halo 5

Doom by a trillion miles

For me

1.Halo

2. Doom

Don't care about the rest.

mod support is a realy important feature for mp games.(sure halo has mods, but you get banned for using them)

the graphic isnt impressive, but well its an xbone game so its not the games fault.

the story is very basic to little for a singleplayer(but who  cares in mp? most good mp fps dont have a real story at all)

and the gameplay is just meh, to simple because its aimed at console casuals, to slow for a futuristic fps, not massiv enough for a war game,

it lacks game modes, no features to change some mechanics. its a less stupid cod in space, not a great masterpiece like some people claim.

What? You can create custom games and modes, I have more than 100 different game modes and maps on Halo 3 what mod do people want or you want?

The graphics look to be great for a console game and Halo 5 is very story heavy it includes characters like Buck from Halo 3 ODST and from the books like Linda/Kelly/Fred etc. of all those FPS game witch one has the most modes?

Of all those FPS games I probably want to play Halo 5 the most.

Rainbow six is totally not my type of game it is a bit to slow for my taste (always been a fan of the fast games like Quake 3).

Star was looks great but when people talk about it they are always complaining how much it lacks that the other battlefronts have.

Doom 4 I don't know,  I loved the first 2 Doom games; The third one felt different more horror but loved the atmosphere in it.   Doom 4 feels like they were trying to find a combination between the first 2 and the third game and it doesn't make me that excited yet.

Halo 5 looks to be very story heavy with so many characters from other halo games/books/comics that makes it very interesting if you care about the lore. Did not like Halo 4 and really not sure this one will be great for me but I will give it a chance.

It feels like COD has been completely forgotten this E3. The effect of the other fps's showing?

Isn't this just the case most E3s? The next CoD is usually announced in April/May, people know it's coming out, so they don't 'hype' it. While other game series aren't on a yearly cycle so a bigger deal is made from them when they do appear.

Hmm, pie.
