Probably explains why we are getting remasters more often because Devs today are running out of ideas. I don't own a Nintendo Wii or Wii U but it seems there the only ones trying to keep the industry alive. People will get bored of graphics but a game designed with great gameplay elements never gets boring. |
I have a Wii and a Wii U and I disagree with you. Just because Nintendo doesn't use realistic graphics doesn't mean they don't largely look the same. On top of that, there are plenty of big games that don't use a realistic art style or even if they do, they don't look the same.
Bet with Adamblaziken:
I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.
Good damage control about Starfox i guess. They couuld just say it without downplaying the other games, it's really sad to see such things in the industry.
They're becoming more and more arrogant, telling and doing more and more bullshit. That explains their failure, they are too proud and dont accept others visions.
Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:
PS4: 17m XB1: 10m WiiU: 10m Vita: 10m

The reason I partly agree with him, is because of the games he is most likely seeing which are the bigger titles (Sales of 10 million, so we must advertisement them as such). Games by Ubisoft/Activision/EA(Mirrors Edge most likely isn't as heavily advertised compared to your good old sport games).
I love Ubisoft and I can tell you a lot of their games look like each other. Division looks like Ghost Recon looks like Far Cry etc.
By the way I fully support this (the whole games looking like each other), but at the same time I think Nintendo needs to do what Nintendo does, which is Cartoony fun games. They should stopped being asked to realism.

Those are all Mario games. What were you expecting? |
Mario looking like mario? What a crazy thing.
And of course Mario always looks the same ... right?

all i can say is that last guardian, horizon, no mans sky and dreams don't look the same to me.
Lol @ this guy. Salty as he is. It's like he's saying every game that has people looking like people all look the same because they made people look realistic. How can anyone agree with this nonsense?
PC GAMING: BEST GAMES. WORST CONTROLS
A mouse & keyboard are made for sending email and typing internet badassery. Not for playing video games!!!

I doubt Miyamoto, is seeing those games advertised to him. His perception of things outside of Nintendo are generally what he sees at the show floor at e3, and he most likely spends most of his time going to see big third party developers to see what they are up to.

Why is Nintendo doing so many bad PR announcements lately? ontop of their E3....
What Miyamoto says PR wise probably isnt anywhere as bad as what Reggie has been saying lately, but its certainly not helping them any.
Its not like just generating enough headlines is going to make people forget their E3.

Well Reggie himself needs to disappear or retire or demoted, he was second worst to Jack Tretton in terms of statements.
