Forums - Nintendo - What happened to Devil's Third? Project Guard? Project Giant Robot???

The two project games are going to be handled by Platinum after they finish with what they are doing with Star Fox. They covered that in an interview during the Star Fox tree house segment. As for the Devil's Third I'm guess they will do a direct for it, or the developer didn't have enough time to create demo for it, that does happen at times.

Here is an article about the Project games:

Errr, I just went to Nitnendo's site to look up about Devil's third, currently the page isn't there, though the age varification is still up.

But it seems a few days ago it was given a release date for Japan of August.

Devils Third was confirmed to release in August for PAL in a little video a few weeks before E3.

Project Guard was speculated to be a part of Starfox in some manner.

How big a studio is Platnium anyways? They have like four projects in the pipeline at my latest count and they usually deliver very high quality, polished games.

I mean, they have that Xbox exclusive, they're working on something with Square Enix, Starfox, that Transformers game and now Giant robot and Guard? I even think I might have forgottem something else they're doing.

Anyways I'm happy that they seem to have a pretty close working relationship with Nintendo. I woder if they would be open to working exclusively with Nintendo? It certainly doesn't seem so at the moment..:P

And Project Treasure and Fatal Frame V

They had only 2 "big" studios inside, after the Bayonetta deal they created a third smaller one who is in charge of the Activision projects which are usually smaller in scope (Avatar and now Transformers).

The main studios are working on the Xbox One Exclusive and in StarFox, but for that last one game is possible that they are not doing ALL the work and are just supporting Nintendo as a co-developer also project guardian could be just a PART of the game not another title.

The new game with Square-Enix (NIER 2) just started development last month according to the conference, so they could be just using the rest of the StarFox studio to create art, plot, character design and other stuff, till StarFox is completed in just the next 4 months (counting with a november release)

There is no confusion about Fatal Frame V. It's coming.
And we just got an update about Project Treasure right before E3.

It wouldnt be a problem if the wiiu would be region free, then you simple could import the pal versions

Devil's Third is coming out in August here in Europe.. The other games were probably just tech demos!

New gameplay trailer and release date for Devils Third. The e3 absence was weird but lets ne honest, Nintendo's e3 itself was weird this year

"That date applies to Europe, while North American date was not announced."

 First Yoshi, now Devil's Third?

Devil's Third is releasing in August for Europe, Japan and NA...
