Fils-Aime: The time frame that these systems are sold is quite long, and right now we’re still at the very early stages of the current generation. The other piece I would highlight is this is a global business. Don’t just look at what’s happening here in the U.S. Look at what’s happening globally.

From a Nintendo perspective, we clearly have strength here in the Americas, we have strength in Europe and we have strength in Japan. That isn’t necessarily true of some of our more direct competitors. We’ve also said publicly that we are already hard at work on our next home console and that’s another element we’ll be talking about much later.

Good. Now people can stop trying to convinced themselves that it's just a 3DS successor or some kind of "third pillar." It's not. It's exactly what everyone should have thought it was when it was first announced.

Now all we need is confirmation that there is an NXDS to go along side it, and I will officially win VGChartz.

Well I'm half right. I still believe in the fusion idea, but I knew that they were talking about the home console version. Now, if they release the Nxds I will win the Vgcharts.

If it's more powerful than an XB1 and cheaper than both PS4 and XB1 (Possible given it's coming out in a time of better technology) and gathers 3rd party support AND Nintendo bring their A game software wise from the get go this could be quite successful.

Hope they don't gimmick it up.

Honestly, that doesn't really confirm anything... Of course they are hard at work on their next home console, they have been forever, they are also hard at work for their next handheld too which they have also said before I believe... But at this point, it wouldn't surprise me if it was

How do you see that happening, Its not in the 3rd parties intrest to fragment the industry some more.  How do you convince them to make a port for hardware with no userbase and a fanbase that does not buy their games.

As long as it's not shit I'll buy it in around 2020.
