There was a E3 show, where a guy said "on PS4 and PC". (he didnt say "on ps4 first" like so many others before, answeared).

That doesnt mean it wont come out for xbox one, but this guy said it was comeing out for pc and ps4, if it was comeing out on xbox one as well, I feel like the dude getting interviewed would have said so as well.

My guess is that they want to release at least one version of the game by the time the original hits its 20th anniversary. But in order to make this happen, they will concentrate on one version at a time, instead of spreading production teams over multiple platform versions.

So PS4 version gets to release first, in time for the original's 20th anniversary, then they'll work on porting the game to other platforms.

SE going from announcement to gold in 2 years? Sorry, i really hope you guys are right, but i don't see it happen.

Since i am feeling optimistic, i will go with 2019.

Development on the remake started before this:

So it's probably been in production for over a year already. Kitase's team is the one working on it, and they haven't done anything since Lightning Returns, which came out in November 2013.

Since versus xiii turned into 10 years from announcement and release ( as ff 15, but whatever). This could take 10 years too... But I'm not a developer, and Sony biggest point for going x86 with ps4 was to make developers life easier, maybe this time around the system will help...

The exceptions don't make the rules. Square-Enix has delayed FF XIII a little, but managed to release 2 other games in the series on a timely fashion after that. Then there's Versus XIII, now XV, which went through production hell for god knows exactly why. That doesn't mean all of their games will now share that fate.
