Forums - Nintendo - What has Nintendo been doing for the past year?

Lets just think about what was shown at E3

Metroid BS

Star Fox

Mario Tennis

Zelda 3 Sword Adventures

Of those, only two were made by Nintendo, and none of the two was the only game that looks like time may have been spent on it (Star Fox U). So what the HELL has Nintendo and Monolith Soft been doing for the past year? Was every single freaking team working on Zelda U?.... What the fuck.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Perhaps they're working on games to be released, I don't know, next year? That or they're moving all teams over to mobiles.

Nahh, they were all making amiibo's in order to try and meet the demand

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

Games/projects for the NX is my guess.

star fox is codeveloped with platinum. Seems they are making games for nx and mobile devices (ios/android)

I still hope they are working on some WiiU games. A 2016 Punch-Out, for example, woud be pretty nice.

I mean, even think about any of the other big games coming out (besides Zelda U).
Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem: Atlus
Project Zero V: Tecmo Koei
Devil's Third: Valhalla Studios

COME ON NINTENDO!!! They have offered their fans nothing this year *edit* except for XCX, which is already out in Japan and should only be in the localization stages, so still Monolith Soft would have nothing to do with it at this point.

You know that good games don't get made in one year ritgh? Look at star fox, this is what you want?

Anyway, its pretty clear that they are moving on to NX now. the last year of any nintendo console are always the most barren. 2 year to meat up again.

"Hardware design isn’t about making the most powerful thing you can.
Today most hardware design is left to other companies, but when you make hardware without taking into account the needs of the eventual software developers, you end up with bloated hardware full of pointless excess. From the outset one must consider design from both a hardware and software perspective."

More to the point, what the fuck has Retro Studios been doing since November 2013?
