I agree it's going to come to both platforms. Though they destroyed a lot of my goodwill and trust yesterday, I still don't think they would be so stupid as to completely ditch the U version.

nintendo said they have great third party partnerships they would announce on e3
Nintendo said they have great new games to show on e3

Because they said they focussing on 2015. and early 2016. games on this year E3. And Zelda U is clearly holiday 2016. game.
It's Twilight Princess all over again, except this is going to be the only main Zelda game the WiiU will ever get. The GC had both Wind Waker anc Twilight Princess.
