IMO there's no reason not to show even a 30 second trailer at this E3.

Something is up. It's been Twilight Princessed.

Yep. You just dont go from showing gameplay in E3 2014, annoucing holiday 15 release, retracting holiday 15 release, and showing nothing at E3 without something being amiss.

I actually think they are going to make it NX exclusive.

The thing people are missing with Twighlight Princess is the jump between GC and Wii was very small from a hardware perspective.

If the NX is a small jump from the WiiU hardware wise it is DOA anyways... They also are going to want to maximise the value of the NX. Also, TP sold like 5X more on the Wii, they may see that historical data and decide it better just to go all in with the NX.

Do you realise that if they dont release already announced, showed and again confirmed Zelda game on Wii U would be shot in the head for Nintendo, because Wii U owners are biggest Nintendo fans and supporters and you can't take them one of the biggest games (that was announced in January 2013.) on console.

Unlike you, Nintendo is very aware of that, and that's why game is 100% coming on Wii U.

Miyamoto confirmed yesterday:

"We're here to talk about Star Fox but Zelda is still coming to Wii U," Miyamoto said through an interpreter, "so don't worry about that."

Miyamoto continued, "My thing with E3 is that we always focus on what's coming out in the immediate future. We have some really great Zelda footage and, at some point we will be showing that off, but not today."

not sure about tp to be honest. TP was on gamecube and wii, which both were very very similar. Almost same cpu and co. The wii could even play gamecube games nativly, without going into a special emulation mode (like wii u).
So that was very easy to port.

NX will probl. be arm or x86 based, i doubt they will do powerpc again. So this will be alot harder to port and take alot time. Time the Zelda team probl dont have.

Also everything they said dont fit on nx. Like "we will make the zelda world as big as the wii u allowes us to do" and much more. Such a game makes no sense on a differenct plattform for me, but after yesterdays e3 i wont be surprised if nintendo make more bs.

I still think more NX will launch with mario kart9, smash 5, new 3d mario. The msot sucessfull games nintendo do have on wii u

It's gonna be WiiU. I'm willing to bet on it.

I dont think I am going out on a limb here saying that Zelda U is no more. Nintendo made the right business decision and instead of releasing one of their biggest efforts on a dying (dead) platform they are now rebuilding it to come out of the gate strong with the NX.

How else do you explain a game going from Holiday 2015 release to a no show at E3 2015?

I dont like it, I literally bought my WiiU to play Zelda (and a few other games) but I agree with the move.

Pretty much every console Zelda got delayed, lol.

The WiiU is not like any other Nintendo console. None of them performed as bad as the WiiU is.

I certainly hope for their sake, that they don't release it exclusively for NX. Would be the first time a nintendo system didn't get an original zelda title (excluding virtualboy). They would be foolish to destroy their goodwill even more. So yeah, it will probably be on WiiU or on both platforms.

You do realise they confirmed it's still going to be a Wii U game right?

They mentioned before e3 they wouldn't show it, what did you expect? The focussed on late 2015 and early 2016 so it will just launch somewhere during the second half of 2016.

So? plus they just confirmed that it's still WiiU.

then why not show it. I mean seriously. If it is coming out for WiiU how do you not show it at E3.
