Last time I checked, FF7 is not on any xbox console.

The rest of this year is in good hands with Persona 5, until dawn, god of war III remaster, uncharted collection, no man's sky, rime, tearaway, everyone's gone to rapture, wattam.

Last time I checked, FF7 remake is timed exclusive to PS4 and will come to Xbox One. You know what I meant.

That list is composed of remakes and B titles/indies. With No Man's Sky being the exception and possibly 2016. Its happened..... its 2011 again, except PS4 fans are defending Sony for the remakes and indies and Xbox fans are bragging about having more AAA games.

This is trippy :P

Last time I checked, they said "Play it First on PS4", not "Play it first on PS4, and again later on the Xbox One". Both No Man's Sky and Street Fighter V were announced in similar fashions, and neither are slated for XB1 releases.

So until there is definitive word, it's safest to say the FF7 will be PS4 first and then ??? later. Under normal circumstances, this would be a normal toned exclusive announcement, but Sony has been snatching up a lot of "timed exclusives" and making them "PS4 now, PC later, no XB1".

As has been said over, and over again. The Kickstarter was to gauge interest, Sony will be helping fund, and develope Shenmue 3.

http://www.vgchartz.com/article/259599/sony-to-help-develop-shenmue-3-kickstarter-was-to-test-popularity/

Sony rather than funding Shenmue 3 screwed their fans by having them kick start the games. This kick starter while gauging interest is also reducing Sony overall risk and increasing their future profit. While at the same time receiving a major marketing boost for being connect to Shenmue 3. Kickstarter was meant to be use by small developer with the support of fan to produce a game that would never of seen the light of day. Now a big corporation like Sony is abusing the nature of kick starter to increase their profit and reduce their risks. I think this move actually set a very bad precedent.

The big winner is not the fans. It’s Sony. Free marketing and increase profit and potential earnings. The kick starter is probably going to raise like 4-5 million dollars these funds are sunk funds that on guarantee that the project will get started. None of that money will yell any future earnings or have any quality guarantee.

Calm down. $2million is nothing to this game or sony. It's a marketing tool that was incredibly effective. How is the big winner not the fans, who are getting a game that they thought would never exist, 14+ years after the previous one?

If you look around the internet you will find your opinion on this to be one of a select few... most are postive that a game no one would touch (not MS or even Sega) has got the chance to be made.

You do know that when ever a game is made a company will *ALWAYS* try to mitigate cost and risk right? or do you think that companies just make whatever they want and if it doesnt work they move onto the next gam.e Of course Sony wanted to help, but its still a massive risk considering the only people who might buy it might be the backers.

Making an indie game : Dead of Day!

PS4 won IMO

Horizon: the star of the show.( full exclusive)

Shenmue: asked by millions of fans and sony was the only one that listened to those hearts and look for a way to bring the game. Apparently sony was measuring the game's hype through kickstarter. (console exclusive).

FF7: another game asked for years by the gaming community. the only place where you can play it first is on ps4. same as the new tomb raider except that this one won't be playable on ps3. (timed exclusive). The damage will be done. I'm sure it will also be marketed as full exclusive.

TLG: even though it was announced a few years ago, there were times that people thought it was cancelled due to no information of the game for a few years. Well, no more concerns and speculation. The game is finally coming which is a real surprise.

This E3 just reasssure me that this gen will end as last gen. ps4 starting off slow and winding up having the better library games overall, the difference is that this time ps4 is in the lead.

MS had a good conference, it's just that the things announced IMO weren't a big deal. BC too late to make a difference in the console wars but it's still a good thing to have for those that have an xbox one.

Nintendo conference was extremely underwhelming. it can be confirmed that they are almost done with the console and still haven't reached into a reasonable price point. Star fox looks... well, let leave it at meh.

Go read my last reply to you and answer it.

I'm not expecting a reasonable, insightful answer from you, based on what you've provided so far here, but maybe your answer can change my mind about that.

How is this screwing the fans? You can spend $29 and guarentee yourself a copy of the game. Anything that guages interest reduces risk...that's the point of guaging interest...

The big winner is absolutely the fans. Without something like kickstarter to see how badly people wanted the game, we'd likely never see Shenmue 3 since everyone else has been passing up on it for the last 14 years.

First, it was that Shenmue 3 wasn't going to be good with such a small budget because Sony wouldn't fund it. Now that you know Sony is funding and helping make the game it's bad that they wanted to be sure people would actually buy the game first?

What it all comes down to is that before the Sony connference, we were never going to see another Shemnue game. Now, a new one is on the way and it's going to be well funded and will be well supported.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

All over the internet people are talking about Sony, The Last Guardian, FF7, Uncharted and Shenmue ... Who won? I don't think THAT is subjective.

The PS5 Exists.

Is that all you got? While some will say this is just your opinion, you seem hell bent on downplaying everything Sony just for the sake of it. Going through your post history, it seems like you can't ever be impartial when commenting about anything related to Sony.

Sony conference was really good. Horizon and Uncharted 4 looked amazing. Horizon is even more impressive since it's look like that game ready to go. Might actually be best game of E3 in terms of graphics and unexpected game. The FF7 Remake was huge news for them.

Sony opening the conference with unfinished Last guardian (I fully expected to see Holiday 2015) was dumb, Sony has made million from fans around the world with one of the fastest selling console of all times and they can't even fund Shenmue 3, Shenmue 3 should of been a PS4 exclusive not a freakin kick starter, No man sky demo was just bad.

Where the hell was project Morpheus? VR is actually exciting and Sony is developping VR of their own (They've one up Microsoft), yet it's hardly mention in the conference.

Then the conference really drag with Assassin Creed and COD: Black Op 3.

It was not dumb. It was brilliant and many fans of that series wanted that game. Is any game before it's release date finished?

Shenmue 3 is a exclusive (it's on pc too) that is funded by sony. Kickstarter was just a way to gauge to see if people really wanted it and by how much.

Sony won E3 because 3 beloved games were showcased in their conference and because of their new IP, Horizon Zero Dawn. You just keep downplaying or refusing to see the significance of Final Fantasy VII, Shenmue 3 and The Last Guardian to the fans of those series. Sony's E3 conference made alot of gamers happy.

By all means keep believing what you will.

Edited. Forgot to add the pic.

They announced that The Last Guardian is releasing in 2016. So what's the problem? Empty complaint at best.

Shenmue isn't fully funded by Sony for the simple reason that it isn't their IP. Yu Suzuki got permission from Sega to use the IP and was looking for a way to fund the game. Sony wanted to make sure the demand for the game wasn't just from the emotional vocal internet dwellers. A kickstarter is a really good way to gauge interest. People actually have to put money where their mouth is. Now tell me why it's bad in any way? Why is it bad that there's a kickstarter to, well, kick start the project? People who give money for it are basically pre-ordering the game. They're not giving money for nothing. You get what you paid for (a very limited edition copy of the game) when you give money on a kickstarter. So again, what's bad about any of this?

Morpheus will be showcased when there's more content for it actually ready to be shown. The thing doesn't yet have a release date. Does Hololens have any? No. So what's the big deal here? When Morpheus will be ready to take a more center stage at a conference, it will. Until then, Sony is giving bits about it to make sure we know it exist and is still in development.

Then the conference had more than that, but you are conveniently selective so far.

If last guardian need to be delayed it won't make 2016. Do you really think that game will make it in 2016? Maybe... Doesn't look like a well polished game to me. This game is from TEAM ICO .... the developpers of ICO and Shadow of Collossus. Just seem to me like everyone putting the game on the same footing has Horizon and Uncharted 4. IMO the game not a conference starter and doesn't deserve all the attention.

The news of the Shenmue 3 Kickstarter is being threated like if Shenmue 3 was exclusive to PS4, a demo and release date was shown. I actually like Shenmue and will play it on PC.

At the end of the Horizon demo they showed the game on the all the screen of the Sony theatre and I though to myself HOLY SH*T that's morpheus. Morpheus was not shown at all at the conference. If anything they seem to try to distance themselve from Morpheus. At least include somthing like this at the Sony conference. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0USSvBSCcc8

What was the big moment of the sony press conference:

Last guardian
Horizon
Hitman
Street Fighter V
No man Sky
Dream
Firewatch
Destiny Expension
FF7 Remake
Shenmue 3 kick starter
Internet TV station?
Assassin Creed
Batman: Arkham Knight
Project Morpheus
Star wars (Disney Inginity & Battlefront)
COD new home on PS4
Uncharted 4

The highlights IMO is Horizon, FF7 Remake & Uncharted 4. Sony kept trolling with their big Star wars partnership kept thinking they would announce an exclusive game to PS4.

Compared to Microsoft conference highlights where they had Backward compability (din't see that coming), mods coming to Fallout 4 big announcement (I don't care if it's exclusive to Xbox one and added bonus of Fall out 3 for free), new elite controler (surprising after previously announce new Xbox one controller with 3.5 MM jack), Recore new IP, Rare Replay and new IP Sea of Thieves, Gears 4, I'm actually excited about Halo 5 and Rise of Tomb raiders that are coming this year (both had a good showing).
