Kind of doubt there's that many people still holding out on an Xbox One for KI, honestly all I see from this is good for good platforms. More active community, more gamers get to experience KI, more money for MS. The potential loss of console sales over this will be so slim in the grand scheme of things. Now if you were talking about a game like Halo 5, I'd understand.

Cross buy too, wow. If only MS would listen to the people here, probably missing out on billions in console and software revenue.

Whats wrong with gamers today. Windows and Xbox are made by the same company. Why shouldn't they share there games? The more the better. Not everyone will invest into PC gaming, Xbox supports those on a budget and simplicity. Two markets not in competition with each other. I own both and PC is my primary choice, I still love what the Xbox brings.

In what possible way does it compete with X1? They will make more money of Gears by releasing it on two platforms than one. MS doesn't make money from selling console, they make money from software. I personally hope they transition to releasing all games on PC and X1 that are 1st party with cross buy and cross play. I will still only buy X1 since PC gaming doesn't interest me, but it will grow the community.

I will use a small anecdote. Myself.

I dont own a XB1 because I own a good PC. If there were enough reason to get an XB1, I would own it in addition to my PS4, WiiU, and PC.

For instance. The XB1 is much better than the WiiU, but yet I own a WiiU. The reason, because it offers enough that I cannot get elsewhere.

This is not about MS. This is good for them (short term), because it brings more revenue. This is about XBox.
