6 for me. expected games and they delivered, hate the XCX release date moved to December. no fatal frame and devil's third. and those speculated big games didn't come true nor new crossover games. the only problem is that MS and Sony can really add 3rd party content to have their conferences look good where as Nintendo couldn't do.

E3 2014 set people's expectations VERY high for E3 2015

On it's own it was already pretty meh. Few surprises and a too much spent on things we already saw (Mario Maker, Yoshi (still adorable though), (dubbed) FE trailer?) and the dev interviews. Then they played with my heartstrings, twice. Metroid and Animal Crossing, ugh. The ending was also pretty lackluster and the show as a whole just lacked impact. So, yeah overall not too impressed, definitely could have went better. 3/10
But there were some cool (new) things, I liked the M&L: Paper Jam announcement, and Star Fox looked good. Also I'm sold on Mario Maker and Yoshi more than ever.

I voted 6/10.
This conference is a lot like Super Mario Sunshine, in that it gets critically bagged, not because it's bad, but that it's bad relative to what Nintendo normally does. None of the announcements were bad, per se. They were just lacklustre compared with what people expected of Nintendo.
Realistically, if Nintendo had been smart about the Smash updates (to keep people from learning of Roy and Ryu), had ensured that KT wouldn't screw up and leak Hyrule Warriors Legends, had held the Earthbound Beginnings announcement for the Digital Event... and had cut a bit of the "developer story" length to squeeze in Fatal Frame and other titles like that, it would have been regarded as quite a solid lineup. Certainly not massively exciting, but solid.
They also could have spent some time on indie games... if they were really smart, they'd have organised with Playtonic to formally show off some stuff during the Event.
Meanwhile, this 6/10 is actually my 'neutral' state regarding the whole E3 based on where it currently resides. If Nintendo have held some big announcements back (like whatever Retro has to announce), it could get as high as an 8/10 for their whole E3. If Nintendo have nothing more to say, it could drop as low as 4/10. Realistically, I suspect a 7/10 will end up being the final position, as they're going to have something to announce, I'm almost certain.
It's a 4/10 for me. Nintendo simply dropped the ball this year. Too much time spent on games we already knew about, and the new announcements were simply ridiculous.
