Pretty sure the Kickstarter page says it's being made in Unreal 4. Granted so is Bloodstained and that's coming to Wii U, but it makes a port much less likely.

Producing the game would have been a "big push". Sony gave the project an E3 audience but, let's be honest, a Shenmue 3 kickstarter was always going to do well. A simple set of stretch goals should determine is there is any interest in additional consoles.

Since it is being designed for PS4 and PC i don't think Wii-U can even handle it sorry.

Absolutely. Considering that the $2 million goal will likely cover 5% of it's budget AT BEST.
