I'm going to keep this quick. So choose your options, Sony, or Microsoft. I think Microsoft's was WAY better, Sony's was lacklustre, and didn't do much in terms of surprising me. But some of you may think different, so vote with the poll.

Both were awesome, but bringing Shenmue 3 and Final Fantasy 7 Remake (timed) are the equivalent of having all five pieces of Exodia, The Forbidden One in your hand. "Yes, that was a fine strategy, but I'm afraid I won anyway."

Surprised 22% honestly voted for MS in this... more than I thought would.

Microsoft was so much better because they actually showed exclusives. Even without Crackdown, Scalebound and Quantum Break. I watched on Youtube and Geoff's panel all gave Sony a B while Microsoft got a mix of A and B.

But Sony had more exclusives

Full exclusives:

Uncharted 4
Horizon
Dreams
The Last Guardian
Ratchet and Clank
Until Dawn
Tearaway Unfolded
World of Final Fantasy
Rigs
Star Ocean 5
Persona 5

Console exclusives:
Street Fighter V
Shenmue III
No Man's Sky

Timed Exclusives:
Final Fantasy VII Remake
Firewatch

The amount of hype I am seeing by sony fans everyone who's a blind sony fan not an  MS fan trying to downplay is ridiculous... how on earth can this level of regard be earned from showing footage of a game that was revealed ages ago and still hasn't been released, a game that is multiplat, and that leaves just Shenmue 3.

The Microsoft conference literally gave gamers everything they've wanted. Classic franchises, new IP, backwards compatibility, crazy pro controller, etc.

I saw literally nothing megaton about Sony's conference this time. Horizon was a very cool looking game, and Shenmue 3 may qualify, but it is a kickstarter tha I almost guarantee will go to Xbox as well in the likely event that it far exceeds its target.

Fixed that for you.
Look around the internet, if it's still working.

MS didn't have a single game announcment that's even remotely close to the impact these games had.
This is not about what games will go to where eventually. This is about Sony's press conference and what they showed. And either one of these megatons single handedly were leaps and bounds above MS's entire presentation in terms of impact. It's not even close.

Re-fixed. And I strongly disagree. Backwards compatiblity is literally the announcement of all E3. And it being testable immediately is gangbusters.

Unfortunately, Sony fans have a historically much larger presence online, but true unbiased media are all in favor of MS at this point from what I've seen.

Sony showed a remake, a kickstarter project, a new art game, trailers taken from fellow E3 participants and a bunch of stuff that we already knew about.

Microsoft showed the remnants of Halo, a package containing 30 of the greatest video games of all time, Rare's take on Black Flag, Phil Spencer, Gears of War 4 and announced some semblance of backwards compatibility.

It's a tight battle, but Microsoft edges it out.

phil spencer the game? when can i play that?

Sonys was much better its hard to describe.

MS was the same old thing you expect from them, sonys was one megaton after another.

MS 5/10
Sony 11/10

What's mind boggling is that games like Persona 5, The Witness, Rime, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, Star Ocean 5, etc. weren't even shown. So many games, but of course, Sony was limited on time.

Actually making a FF7 remake on PS4 it's way more impossible then making old games running on current gens console . SO SONY win by a landslide. If Microsoft create an Atomic Bom and drooped on SONY, then SONY just Nuke the entire planet LOL

Just finished watching it. Both had good conferences but Sony had a better show. Really good pacing, games big and small. Both fanbases should be happy with what's coming.

Heh, forgot about Star Ocean and Persona. Only adds to the list of exclusives. As well as Tales of Zestiria and Tales of Berseria.
