Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Can Nintendo POSSIBLY beat Sony at E3?!

Can Nintendo Win?

LOL NO 204 42.77%

maybe...? 209 43.82%

uh... 64 13.42%

Total:477

Well, Nintendo is going to show only the games that are coming in the next 12 months.

Sony has show the big games coming in the next... 2/3 years, they are only promises by now, most of them don´t even have gameplay to show, and none of them are coming in the next year (except the multiplatforms that we already knew)

Is pretty hard, this is:  Tangible games for the next year VS Promises for the next 2/3 years.

Yes, if they show off their new console, or Half Life 3 exclusive. The best they can do is outshine MS, which is very much possible.

Im a big Nintendo fan, but even I must admit that it is a lost battle.I mean, i dont think(at least it dosent come to mind) that nintendo has a game with the nostalgia appeal and the mithycal proporsions of being eternelly rumored of being announced as ff7 remake or Shenmue 3.Unless Nintendo comes and reveals Chrono Break in the digital nevent, or some such game, it is simply impossible

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Of course.

They need to announce a game, not show anything for 6 years and then re reveal as an exclusive for the succesor. Then they need to announce a niche game as a kickstarter and end with a timed exclusive that will come god knows when.

I'm sorry but no, forget it. Better luck next year, Sony will probably never top the E3 conference they just had.

Nintendo has nothing new to show this year, no.

Edit: some guys here are right, sony ''won'' with promises but that works for people.

With Metroid Prime 4, Zelda Wii U, Mario Galaxy 3, Earthbound 3, Star Fox and A great new IP. Sure, it's possible, likely? -> lmao.

Who knows but I doubt it.

Pretty much.

People saying that Nintendo needs to reveal 7 brand new AAA games just to match Sony are being foolish.
