7/10 - Solid

- a lot of expected stuff (halo, tomb raider)
- gears demo was too dark, couldn't see a damn thing
- tomb raider looks good but it was a weird sequence to demo
- backwards compatibility was unexpected
- halo looks good, cool effects
- rare game was meh imo

Microsoft announced around 3-4 games. What a fucking waste of conference time. I mean, Halo 5, Fables Legends, Gears of War 4, Forza Motorsport 6, Cuphead and so on. there where so many games we already knew about. fuck.

I wouldnt get your hopes up, every year there are supposidly megatons for every conference... and then they go off with a whimper.... people are always expecting way too much.

It was a 7/10 to me. Good conference, but I wasn't blown away by anything in particular.
Xbox trying to do early access right is very interesting, their VR message was kind of confused there, but the Hololens demo looked neat.
Absolutely loved cuphead and the new Inafune game trailer looks georgeous. I wonder if there is an actual game there already though.
Snowy Tomb raider looks nice, so does the Rare aniversary collection. The Rare game reveal left me a bit underwhelmed but I'm prepared to let it charm me. Overall I'll probably still never have a one, but it seems like I have a couple more reasons to be sad about that now!

- BWC (though I find it to be a move of desperation but still amazing news)
- Cuphead game. That looks fantastic!

Alot of it was stuff we've already known so I didnt feel so surprised.
