Forums - Nintendo - "More Big third-party partnerships"?

Isn't the Transformers game confirmed to be multiplat?

Besides, I think that the boss of Nintendo Canada is probably refering to more crossovers like Hyrule Warriors or SMTxFE than multiplat games.

OK then, what crossovers could there be?

One idea I had that could be interesting is Call of Duty: Battalion, set in the Battalion Wars universe.

Around the Network

Lego Dimensions
Just Dance 2016
Spyro

Thats WB Games, Ubisoft and Activsion covered.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Probably something I'm not expecting. I sure didn't expect Hyrule Warriors.

With Nintendos preference of Japanes studios I'll just go crazy:

-Soul Fire Emblem

-Nintendo Hearts

-Resident Animal Crossing

-Devil may make Luigi cry

-Mega Man vs Metroid

Platforms: Wii U, New 3DS, PS4, PC

currently playing:
 -Yoshi's Wooly World
 -Pokemon X
 -Fire Emblem Fates

Zone: Europe (Germany)

They have to consider two things about future partnerships..
1. Do we (Nintendo) want games that appeal to Nintendo gamers?
2. Do we want games that appeal who rarely Nintendo gamers?

Option 1 is fine if they want some games on the Wii U before they start introducing their next console and changing the focus of their first party studios.
I think it's too late for option 2 (on Wii U) unless they introduce a game where that one game enough for people to get the Wii U. But option 2 where you buy games and get promotions deals for new games could be very useful if they want to introduce a new console to a large and more diverse group of gamers.

Anyway I think they will have to play full price if publishers like EA and Activision to return to the console.

Don't copy random editorials.

I'd kill for there to be another proper Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles on wii u. Like the gamecube original but with more of a story and no need to buy four GBA's and link cables.

Delicious, delicious games.

A proper Spyro game (similar to the PS1-trilogy) for WiiU would be great!

I'd be all over Soul Fire Emblem. Make it happen Nintendo.

if you dont think those are going to happen, why bother listing them?

most likely talking about things like Ryu in Smash.

Yup, that's probably it. And the new port of Hyrule Warriors.

I doubt Nintendo of Canada really knows anything important. The pecking order in Nintendo's management is:

1. NOJ

...

...

...

2. NOA

3. NOE & Canada

4. NOAustralia

5. Regions without a local Nintendo HQ building

Any future third party games coming will probably be from publishers who have previously not released their game on the Wii U.
