Forums - Gaming - Transformers Devastation Leaked for PS4/PS3/XBO/360 (made by Platinum Games)

I seriously doubt they are developing a third game right now. Scalebound, the Nintendo game, and this? No way.

I don't think this is the game most people were thinking/expecting, and if its EA then it's most likely multi plat, or at least not Wii-u, again not what people were expecting from PG.

I don't think this will be the only surprise/shock at E3, I think there are a lot of companies struggling right now and that's why we are seeing lots of companies moving to different platforms etc. Insomniac and Ready at Dawn being two.

Activision owns the licence for Transformers (games). So it'll published by them, and released as a multiplatform game.

lol.

Am I the only one that hates the way it looks?

Why didnt they cel shade the buildings ect too..... it looks weird that objects and houses look normal, but the transformers are cel shaded.

They definitely have the manpower for it. Anarchy Reigns launched in 2012. Metal Gear Rising and TW101 launched in 2013. Bayonetta 2 and that Korra video game launched in 2014. There was defineitely some development overlap between those titles. Scalebound and Nintendo's game are both likely coming in 2016, and this Transformers game is probably a cheap thrown together liscenced title like other Activision liscenced titles and will launch this year.

It's probably made by the same team who made that Korra game last year, and it looks like it runs on the same engine too.

Korra looks a million times better imo.

In Korra the buildings and objects are also cel shaded, and the overall level of cel shadeing is much lower.

Stuff like the tree's wherent cel shaded, but they looked like artsy representations of trees, so they didnt feel out of place.

Just youtubed a video of korra, it looks much more "together" in terms of artstyle.

Agreed. This looks like it will be a fun game... but not something that needs to be revealed during E3 and then be shown off again in a seperate event that is a youtube exclusive. I could be wrong, but the fact that the license would firt have to be passed to Platinum by Activision also makes this seem unlikely...

This could be it 100%, but it really doesn't feel like it. Maybe I should lower my expectations a little bit.

Ugh. Man this is pretty disappointing.

If this is the big game, then I am very dissapoint.

bet: lost
