Worry about it.

It will probably some useless shit that's not essential, like all amiibo's.

That's why my only open Amiibo are Mario/Toad/Peach/Luig/Yoshi (Link)

Switch!!!

If they do this, I hope they have trading card Amiibo ready that are cheaper than the figurines and include 5-7 characters in one pack. I would definitely buy a Amiibo TCG if they don't suffer from shortages like the rare figurines. I would probably buy all the Smash booster packs too

It'll completely kill my hype for Mario Maker if Nintendo starts locking off major content behind $10 plastic toys. That said, I don't think Nintendo will do something like that.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Has amiibo support been confirmed?

I don't know why no one thought of this. The first time they announced Amiibos I knew this would be the road were Nintendo were heading.

I don't think they'd go THAT far, but it'd be pretty dumb if that was the case.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
