Don´t worry about it.

But what if I'm onto something, worry is import factor right here

If there is something you can do about it, you shouldn't worry because there is something you can do.  On the other hand, if there is nothing you can do about it, don't worry, because there is nothing you can do.

Amiibo support is stupid. Nintendo releases games, and then they don't release any of the Amiibos that work with the games, unless it is Smash Brothers.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

I kinda agree with him, you don't have to worry too much. :P

I believe that the Mario characters will all be playable (Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toad) without amiibo. What I think they can/will do, at most, is to requiere the use of amiibos from other series to access the character, like, maybe Kirby or something. I don't know.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Tagging. This is interesting.

Wut? Splatoon just released with its own Inkling amiibos, Yoshi will also release this month with Yarn Yoshis amiibos, and so on...

Almost every major Nintendo game is coming with their own amiibos.

Im not a fan of having to buy stupid toys to get the most out of my games, its just like dlc but worse.

Nonsense. You can buy any piece of DLC at your convenience. This is more like a lottery ticket for the chance to buy DLC, which is totally different.

Nintendo hasn't pulled that one out yet. Ever since the beginning, Nintendo has stated that Amiibo wasn't made to mimic Skylanders or Disney Infinity. So, scanning in characters isn't the focus of amiibo. Amiibo are just...physical DLC thus far. I kinda like it too. If they could store data for more than one game, I think gamers would use them a bit more. But don't worry. I know you're trying to worry, but Amiibo is distinctly different from the rest.

For the most part, the amiibo functions have mostly been mostly supplementary and Nintendo is known for making their games complete, polished, and having a wealth of content, at least I have never felt ripped off. There's a chance I suppose, but I doubt it. They seem to actually care about their brand as a company unlike some other AAA publishers nowadays.

I would be more worried about certain functions, even if they are not necessary, not being available because you can't find a certain amiibo. On Nintendo's end, it seems like they may be running out of excuses for the Amiibo shortages when they know these things are in demand.
