But of course, it actually already started.

The downplay will be going a long way.

Aint that the truth?

Stage 1 "LOLLLL! This game is never seeing the light of day but the gullible fanboys will continue to believe"

(Refuted!.. well.. almost..)

Stage 2: "It will score like shit because it's been in development hell"

(Then it "hypothetically" does 90+ Meta)

Stage 3: "But but but.. who cares about Metacritic? the game wont sell ganbusters!"

(Game surprises everyone by selling 2 millions in its first month!)

Stage 4: "I don't care... my preferred game > PS4's entire library including this severely overrated pet simulator... that I'm never going to play"

Stage 4-2 ! " Poetic games suck, i want only guns, cars, explosions "

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

Can't wait too see how the game is now, I hope it ends up being great and emotionally impacting.

If this is true then I was right. The Last Guardian isn't even the same game as it was before. It'll probably have what we've seen when it was first announced but aside from that, it's a completely different game developed as the Last Guardian in name only to gain some good will from the fans. It's identical to the FF15 situation.

If Cerny can't finish it then the game is totally fucked.

Game would have been started over from the beginning when they changed platforms. That would happen regardless of who is in charge. To even refer to FF15's changes as a situation. *thehardesteyerollIcansummon*

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Has any information ever leaked about the reasons for TLG developing issues ?

Cerny involved in the game, makes me think these reasons are technical.

I think there was some kind of article/release/interview something, that said the PS3 just couldn't handle what they wanted to do.  My guess is Cerny's there for assisting with GPGPU expertise.  Sort of like the ICE team.

If they need the gpu compute funktions for the game (and it was too technical for them to pull off)... its gotta be something on a epic scale, and not just your typical FXAA sort of thing.

I think cerny being there should help with pushing the limits of the ps4, going to be intresting to see what comes out of all this.

This makes me think of American movies... the worst usually being the over the top action ones <.<

(followed by toe curlingly embarrasing comdy's)

There are differnt tastes in differnt markets, alot of american action movies that seem to work well in the US, just dont do well in europe.

That doesnt mean his statement is false. Maybe he only likes guns, cars and explosions and theres nothing wrong with that.

Its just differnt tastes for differnt people.

If it contains everything we've seen so far, how on earth could you possibly know all the other content is different from the original vision? Logic dictates that we would HAVE to assume it's the same game.

Euda and others left around four years ago, possibly more and during that time it already had a small group working on it.  If Mark Cerny and Japan studio took over after Knack, then it's been almost two years of development.  It's most certainly going to turn out different than if Euda was there for the entire thing.

Ueda has been working on the game under Sony as a contractor. He is no longer a Sony developer though.
