It'll sure take a few, but I think 2015 will be spread out moreso than any other Year.
Bloodborne, The Witcher, Batman, MGS5, Halo 5, Tomb Raider.

The last game was not made by Rocksteady who developed both Asylum and City. Arkham Origins was not original at all. They basically used the same open world and added snow. Rocksteady should make this game fresh, but I doubt it will win most game of the year awards. |
Ah, gotcha. Well even if it won't be GOTY material, I'm happy to hear that it will probably be at least as awesome as the first two games!
There are a lot of games to take into consideration, and while Arkham Knight is one of them, I doubt it will have the most GOTY awards.

I predict by year's end that for me GOTY will be a fight between Xenoblade and Batman
Competition is very strong, but one of the main candidates has been moved to 2016 (Uncharted 4 ofc).
Witcher 3, Bloodborne, MGS V, Batman...tough choice, but for me GOTY may be.... Persona 5!
Kidding aside (Persona 5 will be great game and I love this series, but it does not have chance to win GOTY) my personal favourite is Witcher 3.
Batman is more of the same
Bloodborne- Dark Souls with minor changes
MGS V- yeah great game and series (love especially MGS: Peace Walker), but it lacks something
Witcher 3 is (for me) new definition in RPGs. Great story (especially for those, who read books), best sidequest ever made, difficult and relevant choices, and most of all game made by small developer with small budget (I would like to see how any other game i mentioned would look like with budget like CDPR had).
And this bring back days, when great games were made by small developers, not only by EA, Ubisoft or Activi$ion.
But this is just one man's opinion ;)

Predicted this one a while ago, and I'm sticking to it. The game looks amazing.
I doubt it. Even though we aren't getting Uncharted or Zelda this year. It still has to go up against Bloodbourne, Witcher 3, and potentially Halo and Xenoblade. Neither of these are gonna be easy tasks. It'll snag a few, but not the majority.
