hi guys, i have been here for awhile, read through a lot of threads and actually got a bit disappointed.

countless post tried to argue how good is the console they support and how suck is others

many fanboy not willing to try other console - even if they tried, they will just play for few minutes and write a long post about how bad is the system/game and how they are not enjoying the system.

some ppl keep calling nintendo games childish just because the art style, some ppl keep call sony a shitty system with no exclusive although it has tons of good games, bla bla bla. In fact, none of them are true, and people just like to insult something they dont like/dont have. As a guy who enjoy every single game in the world (grew up with gameboy, had both sony and nintendo system, didnt get xbox as dont have enough money but play a lot at friend's house), it really piss me off while reading all these insults... i know i can just get rid of or ignore these post, but they are everywhere, included almost all youtube gaming video.

why cant ppl just learn to enjoy all games, or at least, respect everyone's preference?  i didnt enjoy assasin's creed series, but i wont call anyone that loves that series idiot or whatever. people love something for a reason, and the only different is we have different taste. 

edit: i am not asking why people cant enjoy all all types of games, is why they REFUSE to try by insulting it. some ppl just cant RESPECT other ppl's taste :( sry for the confusion

people are insecure, they have to reassure themselves that they "made the right decision" time and time again, although the reality is that in most cases all of the consoles are "the right decision"

Because there's too many people who have varying experiences and values. As for this site, this site attracts them all. We can't all unanimously agree with something because that probability is unlikely. I can say a person is this way about a certain game or console or company, but really they're that way because that's how they are. I hate shooters. I don't knock shooter games, they're okay, but I hate the fact that shooters are at the center of any major game being developed. We can have a whole wonderful game with a great story, but if it's gritty and dark, it has to have a shooter centric gameplay.

I don't like insulting the players. Calling people names is hurtful and childish; however I see people insulting consoles as part of the fun of the console wars. It's like picking a sports team and trash talking the other team while cheering on your own. I see it as harmless fun except for extremely sensitive people.

You don't like all games so all your argument is invalid.

Alot of people like to belong to a Fan community that are together and bash others, like nintedno vs Sony vs microsoft, its a console war that can almost never stop. It also brings sometimes alot of people together or further apart.Its like cheering for a football team (soccer) even tho i dont like football that much without a teams so called hardcore loyal fans that are deticated to them , football wouldnt be as big.

there is barely a middle ground these days but that's everywhere not just gaming. it's either black or white, there not much room for anything else.
