That can be said for all consoles this gen.

not for the wii u, the wii was dated just like the wii u but it's the first time that we play HD Nintendo games, still dated but it's a reall progression compared to the wii. the xbox one and ps4 are just like a new phone, very cool but then "okay". hopefully their exclusives are going to change my mindset.

Maybe they will change your mindset if you play them :)

Prediction for console Lifetime sales:

Wii:100-120 million, PS3:80-110 million, 360:70-100 million

[Prediction Made 11/5/2009]

3DS: 65m, PSV: 22m, Wii U: 18-22m, PS4: 80-120m, X1: 35-55m

I gauruntee the PS5 comes out after only 5-6 years after the launch of the PS4.

overall, games and system, I don't have that "omg this is next gen" feeling like before, now it's more like a simple progression.

I've never gotten that feeling ever with any game from the consoles I played. I come across games that I think are good or amazing but I never go "this is next gen". Graphics improve at a decent rate throughout the gens but that's not important to me. Just as long as what we can experience more it a game and what devs can do in a game keeps improving, I'll be happy. For example, No man's sky. Even if it turns out as wonderful as I think it might, I'll never get that feeling. Games are just slowly allowing me to do what I wanted from the start. It's more like "I can finally experience this" versus "oh look out how good that game looks".

Well, I was playing god of war on my ps2, then I bought a ps3 with god of war 3 and after the first 10 minutes, that was mind blowing.

just like when I was playing majora's mask on my n64 and a year after, gta 3, mind blowing.

or when I was playing super mario world, and then I my mom bought a n64 with mario 64... exactly, mind blowing.

We both have had quite similar experiences :O

Those games may be out already, but you won't know they are there if you don't play them.

Hmmm. That must be nice to experience some games like that. I guess that I'm just more reserved or just a "not impressed often" type.
