Yeah but the Order IP is owned by sony now, you wont see another the order game at all

Doesn't mean to say you can't see a game like TO.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

These guys couldn't even make a proper lengthy game for 1 console with the help of Santa Monica, how in the hell are these guys gonna make a proper multiplatform game all on their own?!

Because Santa Monica has been known to hurt incubated developers more than help them. Look at literally every game they co-developed and co-published after the first Fat Princess. They're all plagued with support issues and get mostly crap because SMS does nothing to even try and help like they're supposed to (except possibly raise the game's budget to embezzle it over to their own projects Gearbox style).

RAD has a fairly talented studio. Without SMS holding them back they should be able to work their way up the ladder a decent amount. They probably won't actually go multiplat but rather tinker with exclusivity on each side for a while. Think Insomniac.

You should check out my YouTube channel, The Golden Bolt!  I review all types of video games, both classic and modern, and I also give short flyover reviews of the free games each month on PlayStation Plus to tell you if they're worth downloading.  After all, the games may be free, but your time is valuable!

I wonder if Sony can get someone else to develop The Order IP... Microsoft is doing it with Black Tusk/The Coalition and Gears. Can't see why Sony can't do it. People Can Fly would be a decent or Sony can create an in-house team to do so. Doubt it, though, as The Order's critical and financial reception was none too great. Shame.

Lol, are you seriously trying to put this on SMS now?

Insominiac Round 2.

Sony lost another exclusive even though they have control over the IP.

And people here, a couple of years ago were saing that developers would jump to be PS4 exclusives... And how smart Sony was by holding those IPs.

Just couldn't help trying to throw some drive by stealth shot at Sony could you?

Thanks jlmurph!

Or we had seen games like The Order Already by another Studios beside RAD ???

Thats a shame, I really hoped they would use the Order assets and built something like a; more open world experience in the same environment with some gameplay improvements or even a multiplayer based expansion.

That's pretty much my take, this doesn't mean R@D will improve upon the areas people had complaints with, more likely it's basically what Crytek did.  Rather than fix what's wrong with their games, they just expanded to more platforms  hoping they can net more people who are sucked in by pretty packaging.

Not completely. RAD knew what they were getting into by delivering style without substance. Sony wanted a gorgeous game and they hoped people would turn a blind eye when it wasn't a very good game. All three are at fault here. But there's been an increasingly prominent trend of SMS being involved in games and seemingly doing nothing to help them. More often than not we see clear evidence of them HURTING the game, with PSAS, Twisted Metal, Starhawk, etc. all getting shafted in post-launch support promised quickly by SMS.
