It is sad that someone wants to have a real discussion of something happening more than a week from now and people can not take it serious. I have always looked out 5, 10, and 15 years into the future to see what I think may be comming. I like to be ahead of things, and not end up lost or shocked at what happens tomorrow, because I never looked past the moment.

I think people have to take a serious look at the market right now. As much as internet forum gamers hate to see the truth, casual users bring in the cash that supports this industry. If we want our games to be the cover child of devices of our future, we all need to look at what needs to change.

I don't see the past being a good predictor of the future of consoles and handhelds anymore. The whole landscape of electronic devices has changed, and if consoles do not evolve with the time, they are going to sink just as fast as handhelds did from DS/PSP to 3DS/Vita. This is something all gamers need to take serious. If you like traditional gaming, you have got to start asking for more from PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo devices. If we don't touch screen gaming, and streaming services are going to take over, and games will be a major afterthought on devices made by people that spit in the face of this industry.

Think long and had about this topic. What happens with PS4 over the next few years, and whatever comes of the PS5 will be a major factor in whether gaming is going to continue to progress, or go through a very dark period. Keep your minds open. Accept a more open view of what a console can be. Jump on board as fast as you can if something like a 3G Vita arrises in the future. Don't give up gaming if you truly enjoy this form of art, entertainment, story telling, and interactivity.

PS5 will like always dominate the market! I guess something around 90-110M.

I have a feeling Nintendo and MS will both release the next gen before Sony is ready to move on from PS4. So we are looking at PS3 levels for PS5 sales.
