I wanted to get an indication on the size of the digital sales of Splatoon by looking at the charts in the eShop. I am not really sure how the charts in eShop are calculated. I have the impression that the sales charts are regional.

Anyway this is the chart obtained from eShop today from Sweden.

Splatoon is on spot 14.

It is beaten by:

They are reserving that spot for commenting later when they have more time or have formed a better opinion on the subject.

OT, Splatoon is doing better than I expected. I predicted 1M by the end of 2015. I was probably wrong.

Just found this site while looking for the sales of Splatoon. It smashed my expectation, I didn't expect Nintendo fans to buy an unproven IP en masse like this. Good news.

More downloads than Rayman - next is Child of Light.

400K would be a great start for a possible new franchise.

It puts the thread in your buddy, which tracks threads in which you have posted. This makes it easier to come back to the thread some time later and not have to hope it's eityher in the hot topics list or on trawl through the forums to find it.

A couple of hours later it has passed the download numbers of Child of Light and is at position 12.

Next is Shovel Knight. We have a lot of information on the sales of Shovel Knight thanks to the excellent reporting from Yacht Club Games. More than 300,000 downloads with about 27% of these on Wii U.

I think the Eshop charts are regional, though going by what Yacht Club game gives us for sales, and taking into accoutn those are only in USA(only that or all of NA?), using first 180k from the first month of sales, once Splatoon passes Shovel Knight in the NA charts it should have atleast 48.6k in digital sales. IF the porcentage stayed the same till the moment the game passed the 300k mark, then once Splatoon passes Shovel Knight in the NA charts it should have a minimum of 81k in digital sales.
