Uncharted and Tomb Raider are considered action/adventure games. While the online is still there, it generally takes a back seat to the campaign, and thus the prominence of shooting in that mode doesn't define the entire game.

Similarly, while the campaign of Splatoon is at its core a platformer, the game is considered a shooter because the online/multiplayer is the main draw and shooting is most definitely the main genre in those modes.

So none of them are real shooters? I am confused.

Maybe, depends on what you class as a shooter and how long the legs are really. Though given the first week sell through I doubt it's something that will just drop off instantly... Whether it can make 600k is another story but the game just keeps on surprising me

Resident Evil is pretty much a shooter franchise nowadays. RE7 will likely beat Splatoon.

Yep... but even if it was, Splatoon can beat CoD BO II in lifetime sales easy at least in Japan.
