I still don´t think "shooter" is the right genre to define Uncharted, I played Tomb Raider and I don´t think of it as a shooter, but dunno.

Uncharted and Tomb Raider are considered action/adventure games. While the online is still there, it generally takes a back seat to the campaign, and thus the prominence of shooting in that mode doesn't define the entire game.

Similarly, while the campaign of Splatoon is at its core a platformer, the game is considered a shooter because the online/multiplayer is the main draw and shooting is most definitely the main genre in those modes.


So none of them are real shooters? I am confused.
