COD also sold 600k and 500k on ps3. I doubt splatoon can get to 600k but it's possible. I guess it depends on how much demand really was week 1 because of the sellout.

Resident Evil are essentially shooters nowadays, so there's that, I suspect for RE7 to surpass it (unless its a proper horror game)
Still PS4 base its still to small, doubt the COD fanbase has moved on from the PS3 judging by sales of AW.
