Forums - Gaming - Remastermania? the Top 10 Remasters i want to see. What are yours?

seriously all the talk about remastermania, i bet if any remaster would come out from our favorite games the majority like you and me would be all over it.  So here are my top 10 Remasters i would be happy to see

10. Resident Evil 5

Yes there is a PC version but who cares i want to play it consoles again in 60fps, new trophies and all the extra stuff. Probably the Best Resident Evil game ever, not a survival Game but a very awesome game.

lol

9. Haunting Ground

Never played, would like to play it if i would find the time someday. But it would be cool if Capcom would relase it on PS4 so i can get trophies by doing that yeah but this is a highly questioned game by Fans to be remastered. It was capcoms last atempt to make a risk with AAA titles designing them not for the Casual market, in fact the game uses pretty much the same engine as Resident Evil 4. The NA copy is also expensive on the internet

The Illegal in some states outfit, after you beat the Game. She also has a whip i have read

8. MGS 4

I think everyone would like to see it being remade to run in 60fps and released for everything.

Only problem is what should Konami do with all the Apple Producs?

7. Lost Planet 1 & 2

Both games are awesome and highly underrated. The PS3 Version of 1 was also badly ported so that could for a lot of people be a reason to pick up a PC built on Next Gen consoles. They should also ad the DX10 fur effects from the PC. And its one of an all time favorite by me.

give us the power of DX10

6. Siren trillogy

A very underrated survival horror series owned and made by Sony, you know by the same devolopers who made gravity rush? Espacially the third game (Siren Bloodcurse) is probably the best survival horror game in the 7th gen, a gen with a drought of survival horror games dont forget that. Sony was very stupid by releasing this game in a lot of regions like NA and Japan only as a digital version.

And in a time when most people didnt even had internet (2008), there were also no PSN cards and Paypal support by the PSN store. And on top of that Sony thought it was a smart idea to experiement with an AAA title by seperating this game into episodes similiar what Resident Evil Revelations 2 does now. PS3 had no games (2008) remember? Well you know why.

So a lot of people ignored this game or dont even know it exists, same is true for the other two probably.

it even has a nice waifu like some other game released 7 years later

5. Crysis collection

Okay just Crysis 1 would be fine as well, this open world tropical masterpiece with unlocked graphics should be remastered on next gen consoles from the PC version.

4. Resident Evil Outbreak 1 & 2

Those games would be awesome if they would be remastered. You know those supposed Online Resident Evil Games? That nobody played online because 98% of the people didnt had internet back then? Or the games had no online mode to begin with if you lived in PAL regions? Pretty sad if you consider how much popular things like left4dead are now. But it was capcom who made survival horror first online, i think a lot of people would like to have a slower paced survival horror game like this Online.

how cool is that?

3. Last Remnant

So square is relasing a lot of PC games from 7th gen consoles, the first game was in fact Last Remant on steam. Why keeping it there? Release it on consoles, it was on of the best SqaureEnix games ever made in recent years i recall. The problem the game faced was the bad performance of the xbox 360 version bringing it bad fan/review feed back and sales.

It came out for the PC with all the improvements and with better hardware, but in the end the game was mistreated on a platform that isnt really known for preffering AAA jrpgs while more leaning towards Korean MMOs. PC reviewers took all the improvements for granted and gave it the same scores like the console version or sometimes even worse, this game was heavily overlooked despite all the improvements square enix gave. So i think the game should have another chance on the PS4 at least. In Japanese Famitsu the PS3 version which will never happen still ranks at 19th place. Really square, you dont want that easy cashgrab?

2. Timesplitters

Crytek wtf? why you buy Free radical and make nothing with them?.. Release the Timesplitters Trillogy on all systems, add multiplayer etc. Also the game would be a funny expeirence to Platining it as all 3 games have a lot to do with tons of Mini games.

yes thats a brick

1. Silent Hill Collection

The HD remake is a broken mess, and the PC versions are decades old who need XP to run properly and they have tons of other issues running on Windows. Konami could easily revamp SH2, 3 and 4s PC versions making them running on all current x86 systems again, adding trophies and make tons of money selling it for 60 bucks. But Konami is Konami..

by the way Konami dont forget the PS2 memorycard Easter Eggs in Silent Hill 3 like you have with the PC version. If you ever will

Legacy of Kain collection. I would love to be able to play the old games over again with improved visuals, along with having the hope for a continuation of the story.

No deeplinking please!

The Crysis pic says "No deeplinking please".

I'll have my list later.

re1-code veronica with 3d world and re6 camera and controls

Resident Evil Outbreak games would be interesting.

They were odd, but very fun. Might just be the nostalgia talking though.

Crash Bandicoot 3, Crash Team Racing, Hogs of War, King's Field, MediEvil, Ratchet & Clank 3 and Ratchet & Clank 2 should get remastered! This would be so awesome!!!

I've said it time and time again that this series needs a remake.  The games are amazing but they came out before their time when it comes to the online aspect.  Hopefully a remake or remaster fixes those horrible load times, the only issue the games had if you played them without the HDD.

I actually dislike remasters.  Remember when video games used to have remakes?  Final Fantasy 4 Complete Collection, Final Fantasy 4 DS, Wild ARMs Alter Code F, Super Mario Bros (All Stars,) Dragon Quest 3 (Super Famicom,) Dragon Quest 4, 5, and 6, etc.  Remasters are just a cheap way for a developer to port over a game and make a profit when doing absolutely nothing new.

These are the games I'd purchase if they received a remaster though.

Resident Evil Outbreak 1 and 2
Final Fantasy 12
Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne
Shin Megami Tensei Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2
Yakuza 1 and 2 HD(there's already one, probably never going to be localized.)
Lords of Shadow  (never going to happen.)
Lords of Shadow 2 (never going to happen.)
XCOM Enemy Within
Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles (never going to happen.)
Brigandine and Brigandine Grand Edition(with the multiplayer mode having online added)

Everything above can be played on PC upscaled to 1080p.  The PS2 games though will only run in 4:3 except FF12 which didn't run properly in widescreen.

Harvest Moon 64. That would be about the only game I would want to see be remade. Oh, Sktrim on my PS4 would be nice.

Ask stefl1504 for a sig, even if you don't need one.

Gears of War games
Crysis games
Halo games that haven't been ported yet
Crackdown 1 & 2 (visual remaster preferred with 60 fps)
Sonic Racing games
Alan Wake games
Fable games (including Kinect's Fable Journey because it was actually good)
The Orange Box (maybe with Black Mesa)
Virtua Fighter collection
Shadow Complex

The Sony IPs I wanted to see remastered are being done already.
