If your favorite genres are action adventure, platforming and racing I'd recommend Infamous/Shadow of Mordor, Rayman Legends and Driveclub respectively but I believe all the games below are very enjoyable.

Oh, this has thrown a spanner in the works. I love Rayman games!

Best game I played was SS.

Just hold out a little longer for batman, you really have very few next gen only options by eliminating bloodborne.

The Order 1886 , fits your description perfectly.

Well sadly you just eliminated two of the best exclusives available on PS4 right now since you don't want to play The Last of Us or Bloodborne. A shame considering how awesome those two are. Though considering you want an 8-10 hour game that also means Bloodborne is doubly out. Have you played Diablo 3? That might be worth looking into. Battlefield 4 might be something you'd enjoy since I see you've played Call of Duty.

If you're willing to try a game even if it's something that takes a long time to beat I'd recommend The Witcher 3 and Dragon Age: Inquisition. Shadow of Mordor, possibly. Arkham Knight is coming out in a few weeks. The previous two games made by Rocksteady were excellent so I'm sure this one will be amazing as well.

Between a fulltime job, consulting on the side, and trying to set up my own business / emigrate to America, I don't actually have much time for games. An 8-10 hour game is going to take me a full month to get through, already. Longer games just reduce the amount of different experiences I can get. I haven't touched a game other than GTAV since I got that last November, and I don't want to do that again.

Don't laugh at me, but I actually play CoD for the singleplayer. Not touched the multiplayer since CoD4. From my understanding, Battlefield's singleplayer is basically nill.

The games he listed are all lengthy. I already picked the perfect ones for your current needs :D

Me too :D

Edit: After a rough start Driveclub has become an incredible game as well though. It's my 2nd favorite PS4 exclusive after TLOU (sry Bloodborne fans, I just don't have it in me).

Beware it's more sim than arcade though. Don't know what you prefer.

Infamous is like 7 hours and the campaign was enjoyable for me.

I did find it short though, but you would appreciate that most likely.

Not a fan of horror, so not Last of Us or Bloodborne.

Welp.

So is bloodborne considered RPG or horror? I am confused about this.

It was more like 10 hours of awesomeness, not 7. How did you complete it so quick?
